The Tagaung Taung nickel mine?is located near the junction of Myanmar's Mandalay?Region, Sagaing?Region, and Shan State. With nickel metal resources totaling?340,000 tonnes,?a total investment of over $1 billion, and?a?designed?annual production capacity of 22,000 tonnes of nickel metal, it is CNMC's largest standalone overseas investment project and the first large-scale mining project jointly developed by the governments of China and Myanmar.
